tik-tik-tik

Ek het 'n snaakse quote vanoggend gelees: "Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards."

Ek dink ek is 'n skrywer?

"Almost anyone can become an author; the business is to collect money and fame from this state of being." - A.A. Milne

"We write to taste life twice." - Anaïs Nin

"The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say." - Anaïs Nin

"The most beautiful things are those that madness prompts and reason writes." - André Gide

"People have writer's block not because they can't write, but because they despair of writing eloquently." - Anna Quindlen

"Good communication is as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after." - Anne Morrow Lindbergh

"Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass." - Anton Chekhov

"You write to communicate to the hearts and minds of others what's burning inside you. And we edit to let the fire show through the smoke." - Arthur Polotnik

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." - Ben Franklin

"The drudgery of being a professional writer comes in trying to make good days out of bad days and in squeezing out the words when they won't just flow." - Benjamin Cavell
